Tomato Basil Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

– 4 boneless chicken breasts – 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved – 1 cup fresh basil leaves – 3 cloves garlic, minced – 2 tbsp olive oil – Salt and pepper to taste – ½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional)

Instructions:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 6–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in cherry tomatoes and cook until soft and blistered.

Add the basil leaves and stir for another 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the tomato-basil mixture over it.

Cover the skillet and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes, letting the flavors blend. For extra richness, sprinkle with mozzarella and let it melt.

Serve hot with a side of rice, pasta, or crusty bread. This dish brings a fresh, herby taste with juicy chicken and vibrant tomatoes in every bite.
