– 1 can crescent roll dough – 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened – 1/4 cup sugar – 1/2 tsp vanilla extract – 1/2 tsp lemon zest – 1/2 cup chopped strawberries – 1 tbsp lemon juice – Powdered sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together to form one sheet.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest until smooth. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough sheet.
Sprinkle chopped strawberries evenly over the cream cheese layer, then drizzle with lemon juice for extra zing and freshness.
Gently roll the dough into a log, starting from the long side. Slice into even pieces, about 1 inch thick, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Let the rolls cool slightly before serving.
Dust warm rolls with powdered sugar and enjoy. These sweet and tangy treats are perfect for brunch, dessert, or a fun snack any time of day.
