Ingredients

– 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced – 1/2 cup heavy cream – 1/4 cup sour cream – 2 tbsp powdered sugar – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 2 tbsp orange liqueur (optional)

Instructions:

Begin by washing and slicing the fresh strawberries, removing any stems. Place them in a large mixing bowl and set them aside.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks. Then, gently fold in the sour cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.

If you're using orange liqueur, mix it into the whipped cream mixture. This adds a delightful depth of flavor to complement the strawberries.

Carefully fold the whipped cream mixture into the strawberries, ensuring they are evenly coated without overmixing.

Once the strawberries are coated, cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
