Ingredients

– 3 ripe avocados – 1 small onion, finely chopped – 1-2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 medium tomato, diced – 1 lime, juiced – Salt to taste – Fresh cilantro (optional), chopped – Jalapeño (optional), finely diced

Instructions:

Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop flesh into a bowl. Mash with a fork to your desired consistency chunky or smooth.

Add finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the mashed avocados. Mix well so the flavors begin to combine evenly throughout.

Toss in diced tomato and gently fold it in to keep its shape. Tomato adds freshness and juiciness to balance the creamy avocado.

Squeeze in the juice of one lime. This not only adds tangy flavor but also helps prevent the guacamole from browning too quickly.

Season with salt to taste. If using, stir in chopped cilantro and diced jalapeño for an herby, spicy kick that elevates the dip.
