Lemon Balm Recipe

Ingredients

– 1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves – 2 cups water – 1 tablespoon honey (optional) – 1 teaspoon lemon juice – Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

Wash the lemon balm leaves under cold water to remove any dirt, then gently pat them dry using a clean towel or paper towels.

Boil 2 cups of water in a pot, then remove it from the heat and add the lemon balm leaves into the hot water.

Cover the pot and let the leaves steep in the water for about 10 to 15 minutes to release their natural oils and calming flavor.

Strain the liquid using a fine mesh sieve, discarding the used leaves and keeping only the lemon balm-infused water.

Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the tea for a little tangy flavor and stir in a tablespoon of honey if you like sweetness.

Let the mixture cool for a few minutes, or serve it over ice cubes if you want a refreshing iced lemon balm tea.

Enjoy your lemon balm tea as a calming drink in the morning or before bedtime to relax and soothe your mind and body.
