Fruit Cake
– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts – 1 cup BBQ sauce – 1/4 cup Italian dressing – 1/4 cup brown sugar – 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce – Salt and pepper to taste
Place the chicken breasts in your slow cooker, ensuring they are spaced evenly at the bottom. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth and well combined.
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker, making sure each piece is well coated in the flavorful blend.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks, then stir it well so it soaks up all the sauce.
Serve warm on buns, over rice, or with a side of veggies. It’s perfect for sandwiches, wraps, or even on top of a baked potato!
